I was born with a large Nevus (Birthmark) on my forehead, and its rarity attracted unwanted attention, which left me feeling very different and alone in the world. I suppressed my feelings of adversity and shame, shutting down and hiding aspects of myself.
I discovered my passion and enjoyed a 17-year career as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer on the front line. After a series of life-changing events, life compelled me to confront my past. With support, I was encouraged to open up and share my story, leading to a sense of freedom and liberation.
In opening up, I uncovered a powerful truth: I was not alone. I discovered others also concealing their unique burdens, and this revelation awakened a new version of myself, one that embraces the strength found in vulnerability and connection.
Rediscovering my drive, purpose and passion fills me with immense joy as I share my journey and ignite a spark in others to shift their mindset, overcome their burdens and align with their authentic selves.
